Working Considerations
Minimum Education: Graduate
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Shift Timings: 6:30 AM IST - 2:30 AM IST
Working Days: 5 days working in the week
Location: Flexibility to work both from home and the office based on business requirements within Admiral's serviceable area.
WFH (Work from Home) – need assurance of a noise free quite/separate room providing an ability to work without interference, continuity and maintaining complete data integrity. There is a need for an existing stable Wi-Fi connection from a reliable telecom vendor having a minimum speed of 75mbps and uninterrupted power supply.
WFO (Work from Office) - we do ensure that we take adequate safety precautions and remain compliant with government prescribed rules and regulations.
Summary of the role
We are looking for an experienced Risk Assistance Manager to provide risk & compliance oversight, challenge, and support to our Delhi operation, ensuring risk management responsibilities are met in line with EUI’s risk management framework.
This role will focus on embedding effective, practical risk and control management within our Delhi operation, working closely with both Delhi‑based teams and UK‑based stakeholders. You will play a key role in strengthening risk maturity, supporting good customer outcomes, and enabling informed decision‑making across Operations.
Reporting to the UK Delhi Risk Assistance Manager, you will provide a mixture of direct support and independent oversight across a range of operational and functional activities undertaken in our Delhi site. As part of the central EUI First Line Risk & Control Team, you will work collaboratively to ensure risks and risk events are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored, and reported, with proportionate and effective controls.
You will be an experienced risk professional with a strong grounding in risk theory, able to apply this pragmatically in a complex environment, and confident building trusted relationships across geographies and seniority levels.
Role and Its Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and embedding of EUI’s risk framework, standards, and policies within the Delhi operation.
Act as a trusted risk partner to Delhi leadership teams, providing advice, challenge, and guidance to support effective risk‑based decision making.
Build and maintain strong working relationships within the Delhi site and with stakeholders in the UK, enabling clear escalation, issue resolution and undertake root cause analysis on risk events, to identify actions to strengthen the control environment.
Support the identification, assessment, and documentation of operational, data, conduct, and customer risks within Delhi processes.
Oversee and support risk and control self‑assessments, ensuring risks and controls are clearly articulated, proportionate, and outcome‑focused.
Monitor control effectiveness and support remediation of identified weaknesses, ensuring timely and sustainable actions.
Develop and review key risk indicator (KRIs) reporting to provide meaningful insight into Delhi risk trends and emerging issues.
Provide high‑quality risk reporting into governance forums, risk committees, and senior stakeholders.
Support the ongoing development of risk capability within Delhi through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
Attend and contribute to relevant risk working groups and committees, representing Delhi risk perspectives.
Line manage a small team of risk colleagues, providing coaching, feedback, and support to build capability and embed strong risk practices.
Ensure a strong focus on customer outcomes and conduct risk with a clear consideration of how Delhi activities, controls, and behaviors impact customers.
Ingredients to Success:
Relevant risk or governance qualification or willingness to study toward it (e.g. IRM).
Experience supporting risk embedding, maturity uplift or cultural change programmes.
Understanding of operational, data protection or conduct risks within customer‑facing environments.
Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of operational risk management theory and practice, and the ability to apply this pragmatically.
Demonstrable experience working with or supporting operations (e.g. India or other outsourced/shared service environments).
Proven ability to build effective, credible relationships with stakeholders across various locations, cultures, and levels of seniority.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain risk concepts clearly and influence outcomes.
Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret risk data and trends.
