Working Considerations

Minimum Education: Graduate
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Shift Timings: 6:30 AM IST - 2:30 AM IST
Working Days: 5 days working in the week

Location: Flexibility to work both from home and the office based on business requirements within Admiral's serviceable area.

WFH (Work from Home) – need assurance of a noise free quite/separate room providing an ability to work without interference, continuity and maintaining complete data integrity. There is a need for an existing stable Wi-Fi connection from a reliable telecom vendor having a minimum speed of 75mbps and uninterrupted power supply.
WFO (Work from Office) - we do ensure that we take adequate safety precautions and remain compliant with government prescribed rules and regulations.

Summary of the role

The Executive – Payroll & Compliance, responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across a large employee base and ensuring statutory compliance as per Indian labour laws, internal policies, and audit standards. The role includes payroll operations, compliance monitoring, vendor coordination, audits, and reporting. The role supports strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance adherence across payroll, benefits, and vendor/employee contractual frameworks. The role also includes oversight of thirdparty compliance and audit readiness to ensure strong governance across payroll, benefits, and vendor ecosystems.

Role and Its Responsibilities

• Strong working knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Ensure payroll processes are carried out in compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, internal
policies, and audit standards.
• Review high-risk payroll transactions such as F&F settlements, arrears, retro payments, incentives, deductions,
recoveries, and manual adjustments.
• Monitor compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, bonus, gratuity, leave encashment, and other payroll-related
statutory obligations as applicable.
• Ensure employee payments, deductions, recoveries, reimbursements, and adjustments are processed as per
approved policies and controls.
• Maintain maker-checker controls and support in strengthening payroll governance frameworks.
• Identify payroll risks, control gaps, and process deviations; highlight issues to the manager with recommended
corrective actions.
• Manage and monitor employee insurance coverage including Group Health Insurance, GPA (Group Personal
Accident), and Term Life policies.
• Ensure accurate employee data submission to insurance vendors (new joiners, exits, dependents, sum insured
changes).
• Validate insurance deductions and employer contributions in payroll and Track policy renewals, endorsements, and
compliance with insurer requirements.
• Maintain and manage employee, consultant, and vendor contracts related to payroll and HR operations.
• Review vendor deliverables, SLAs, and compliance reports to ensure adherence to agreed standards. Track and
ensure closure of audit findings and observations for third-party vendors.
